The annual Breast Cancer Foundation of the Cayman Islands Gala was held on Saturday, October 7th at The Ritz-Carlton. RE/MAX Cayman Islands along with Kim Lund and James Bovell, both founding members and current directors of the foundation, are proud to be the title sponsor of this event for the last 14 years.
This year’s Gala raised in excess of $500,000, marking a significant milestone in the fight against breast cancer in the Cayman Islands. The funds raised will be instrumental in supporting patients, promoting awareness and the importance of early detection.
This year’s gala was graced by the presence of Matthew Knowles, father of Beyonce and Solange, who delivered an inspiring speech that resonated with every attendee. Knowles, a breast cancer survivor himself, shared his personal journey and insights, emphasizing the importance of early detection, research, and community support in overcoming the disease.
