Kim Lund, esteemed Broker/Owner, began this journey with his first real estate agency, First Realty of Cayman, back in 1990. Realizing the need for a competitive edge, he bought the RE/MAX franchise and introduced it to the Cayman Islands over 30 years ago, as the first RE/MAX office outside the US and Canada. While the office stands as a testament to resilience and innovation, it also intertwines with RE/MAX’s global expansion, setting the stage for the corporation’s success on an international scale.

James Bovell, Broker/Owner, joined in 1994, contributing to the growth and leadership. Together, Kim and James founded and currently direct the Breast Cancer Foundation, which was inspired by Kim’s late wife, Brenda Tibbetts-Lund, who fought a courageous battle with breast cancer. Initially founded to raise funds through events such as annual walks and galas, the Foundation has evolved into a robust organization which supports breast cancer patients in the Cayman Islands. In addition, RE/MAX Cayman Islands also has a dedicated committee that spearheads the annual community events and donations. In 2023, RE/MAX Cayman Islands was awarded the Community Service Award by RE/MAX Caribbean and Central America, a region of over 35 countries, for its ongoing commitment to giving back to the community for over 30 years.
