As a bronze sponsor, REMAX Cayman Islands was proud to support and participate in the Alzheimer’s Walk on Sunday, September 6th, joining members of the Cayman community in raising awareness and vital funds for individuals and families affected by dementia.
Representing REMAX Cayman Islands at the walk were Michael Binckes and his family, Heather Richards, and Beth Lesko and her daughter, who all came out to show their support for this important cause.
Held during World Alzheimer’s Month, the walk is the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association of the Cayman Islands’ largest fundraiser of the year. It brings the community together with a shared purpose: to increase awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia while helping provide much-needed support, education and resources to those affected.
The Cayman Islands walk is also part of a much larger movement, with thousands of people across more than 60 countries taking steps in solidarity with individuals living with dementia, their caregivers and their families.
