On October 3, the REMAX Cayman Islands team proudly attended the 2026 Breast Cancer Foundation Gala at The Ritz-Carlton, celebrating 17 consecutive years as Title Sponsor of this incredible event.
This year’s Gala was particularly special, marking the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation’s most successful fundraising evening to date, with more funds raised than at any previous event. The evening brought together 650 survivors, thrivers, supporters, sponsors, and friends from across the Cayman Islands for an unforgettable celebration of generosity, community spirit, and hope.
Our connection to the Foundation runs deep. REMAX Cayman Islands brokers Kim Lund and James Bovell are founding members of the Breast Cancer Foundation, and their dedication to this important cause has helped shape our company’s long-standing commitment to supporting those affected by breast cancer in the Cayman Islands.
The Gala was a wonderful evening, with the room awash in pink and playful touches of yellow and lemons throughout, reflecting the evening’s special guest speaker, Dr Corrine Beaumont, founder of Know Your Lemons.
Dr Beaumont’s presence was particularly meaningful, as the Breast Cancer Foundation is a proud partner of Know Your Lemons and has trained its entire team as Lemonistas. Through its creative and accessible approach to breast health education, Know Your Lemons is helping to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, empowering individuals with potentially life-saving knowledge and encouraging early detection.
